Amazing ocean view!

we had an awesome stay at grand view! our corner room was extremely clean and provided stunning ocean views from two sides. we loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves, with easy access to great restaurants nearby. the indoor pool was a fantastic bonus for family fun.

the stairs to the upper floors are a bit steep, but totally recommend!

The view was amazing and the balcony was perfect for relaxing. Clean rooms with comfy beds made our stay nice. We even had a minor issue with the pool being unheated, but the ocean was just steps away.

Woke up to breathtaking ocean views and enjoyed the cozy balcony. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating every request with a smile.

However, the lack of counter space in the bathroom was inconvenient, and the third-floor stairs felt like a workout. A screen on the patio door would have been nice.

Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help us. However, the pool could have been warmer, which would have made our swims more enjoyable. Also, the balcony lights stayed on all night and were too bright for my liking. it made it hard to enjoy the view from bed or fall asleep. Still, easy access to the beach made up for this. I’d definitely recommend this spot for a romantic getaway or a relaxed family trip.

Hot water issues clouded the experience, not getting fixed until the two-night mark, forcing a confusing accommodation swap that involved steep stairs. Lack of closet space or shelving made organizing a hassle, while the absence of a screen on the patio door led to unwelcome tiny flies interrupting our evenings. Additionally, inconsiderate neighbors contributed some unwanted noise, and the balcony light being on until late was annoying, as it lacked a room switch for control.

Just a good pick for spending the night in York with very good value for money. The beds were comfortable, but I did notice no top sheet. Watch out for the bright balcony lights—they keep you awake all night!
